It’s November, National Novel Writing Month, and time for our annual novel-writing retreat, Weekend With Your Novel. It’s not too late to register, but time is running out!

Life often gets in the way of writing—November is the month to get back to it and Weekend With Your Novel is a great opportunity to connect with other writers and editors and to make real progress with your writing. Jump start your novel by joining us in Madison November 13-15 for Weekend With Your Novel, three days of inspiring and practical advice in sessions with experienced writers, editors, teachers, and agents. Meet other writers at all stages of the process and come away with the tools and the motivation to get your novel written and published.

Regardless of where you are in your journey as a novelist, there are sessions with writers, teachers, and editors geared toward helping you take the next step with your novel, whether it’s the first step or crossing the finish line. Weekend With Your Novel is a small, friendly, and supportive retreat on the University of Wisconsin campus on beautiful Lake Mendota. Come join us this year, and see what a difference a weekend in November can make for your novel.

I have some INSIDER information: My writing partner and friend, Kathy Steffen has put together some material for novel writers you won’t find anywhere else. She is a gem of a writing teacher and will be at Weekend With Your Novel. Okay!, all the teachers are great but don’t miss any of Kathy’s classes.
