Great advice on writing conferences!


The countdown to Writers’ Institute has begun, and here are two excellent posts filled with advice.

The first post by writer Julie Holmes of Minnesota explains what one writer got out of Writers’ Institute for her career and why she’s coming back.

The second post by author Catherine Dilts explains etiquette for attendees, panelists, and moderators at conferences. UW writing staff member Christine DeSmet shared a panel with Catherine at the Sleuthfest conference last year and Christine is part of a panel at Writers’ Institute this year.
