SAVED, an action-drama script by Julian Renner, New Rochelle, New York, was chosen a Diamond Prize Winner in the Filmmakers International Screenwriting Awards sponsored by Filmmakers Magazine, Write Bros., and the Radmin management-production company. The prize includes professional story notes and consideration for representation and production.

Here’s the logline for SAVED:  Pastor Samuel Jones, about to testify for the FBI against a dangerous drug dealer, refuses to enter witness protection unless his wife, Monica, with secrets of her own, is included in the deal.

Julian wrote his script in the UW-Madison Continuing Studies online course, “Screenplay:  Write Your First Draft Fast.” His instructor was Christine DeSmet.

Angeline participated in the creative nonfiction book section led by Julie Tallard Johnson at the Write-by-the-Lake Writer’s Workshop & Retreat in June 2014. There’s still time to register for this year’s retreat and get your book ready for publication.
